Emma Watson, much like Daniel Radcliffe, has chosen her roles after “Harry Potter” very wisely. She’s now signed up to star alongside Ethan Hawke in new thriller “Regression,” according to The Wrap.
Alejandro Amenábar is directing the movie from his own original screenplay, which will be released on August 28, 2015 by TWC-Dimension. The plotline is being kept under wraps, though Watson says via press release: “I am passionate about Alejandro and his work and am so happy to be collaborating with him. I’m really excited by the challenge my character presents to me as an actress. I can’t wait to begin.”
Watson, who is best known for playing Hermione in the “Harry Potter” franchise, has chosen a variety of roles since then. She last starred in Sofia Coppola<’s quite brilliant satirical comedy drama “The Bling Ring” and she played herself in Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s apocalyptic hit comedy “This Is the End.” Watson will next be seen working with Darren Aronofsky next to megastars Russell Crowe and Jennifer Connelly in biblical epic “Noah.” The twenty three year old actress is also set to begin filming memoir adaptation “Your Voice in My Head” this year too.
